“The Beauty Explorer”
Stephanie Itzel Havens is an American artist, designer, and creative storyteller with a deep interest in culture, beauty, and visual expression. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising Design from The Art Institute of Dallas. Her background in design has shaped the way she sees the world from the composition of an image to the small details that make a place, object, or experience feel memorable.

Being raised around different cultures throughout her life inspired her interests in art, beauty, film, photography, music, poetry, travel, food, and design. She has also worked in luxury retail alongside major beauty and fashion brands, where she developed a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship, presentation, client experience, and the storytelling behind a brand.
Stephanie began her artistic practice primarily through acrylic painting and mixed media on canvas. As her creative perspective continues to evolve, she is exploring new materials, mediums, and ways of creating. Rather than limiting herself to one discipline, she follows her curiosity and allows her different interests and experiences to shape her work.
She is also a licensed esthetician with a longstanding interest in skincare, makeup, haircare, body care, and beauty education. Beauty Explorer brings together that knowledge with her curiosity about creativity, culture, travel, and the many ways beauty can be discovered and experienced.
ARTIST STATEMENT
“My work explores the quiet relationship between nature, light, and perception. I invite viewers to slow down and notice what might otherwise go unseen. Light becomes more than illumination; it becomes a material through which transformation is revealed. At its core, my practice is an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to look again, to rediscover the beauty that is always present, but so easily missed.
